Writing and thank yous

Sigh… This is becoming quite a bad habit, but for once I have a good reason for not posting. I want to write in a big way. In a way I haven’t wanted to write in a long time.

And since the desire and the urge is there, I’m not going to ruin things by distracting myself.

So yeah. GPF continues as always. Then on Monday there will be a guest post and Tuesday another Interview. Wow, this will be like an unplanned blogging break!

Anyway. Just want to say thanks to Cindy for volunteering to write this week’s post. You are officially my heroine until further notice.

And then I want to say thanks to all my blogging friends who looked me up at WriteOnCon. And for your excellent feedback. Because you guys’ crits ROCKED.

See you all on Wednesday! X

Pictures and WriteOnCon

Today will be a short post, since I’m a bit busy soaking in writing knowledge (see point no.2), so… I’m just bringing up some important announcements, although both probably prove that I’ve lived under a rock the past few weeks. Correctly, as it happens – if not literally.

1) Firstly. If you haven’t done it already, please go through your blogs and remove any pictures that aren’t in the commons or that you don’t have permission to use. Here’s why, in case you don’t know.

2) On a happier note, it’s WriteOnCon again! Which is where I’m keeping myself busy today. So if you haven’t joined and you’re a children’s, YA or MG writer, what are you waiting for? It’s awesome and (even more awesome) it’s free. Except if you make a tiny donation. So far, I’ve learnt a huge amount, so I definitely recommend it to everyone.

If you are there and want to friend me, my user name is MishaMFB.

And if you’d like to read about or a few pages of Doorways, feel free to go crit my query, first 250 words or my first 5 pages. I’m willing to reciprocate for anyone who asks.

Well then, that’s me for today!

See you at WriteOnCon, hopefully!

It’s WriteOnCon!

Hi all! First I have some admin to do. I need to pass on yesterday’s award. And this prestigious award goes to:

Theresa
Carol
Amy

OK now that’s done. I just want to share some awesome today. In case you’ve been living on another planet, I thought I’d remind you that it’s WriteOnCon.

Last year I didn’t go because I was shy. Stupid, I know. But now I’m not missing it for the world. *except for classes and test prep. There are Ninja-agents, agent chats and more. I’m not going to say no to that. 🙂

Who else is attending this year?
